Polymers

Polymers are created via polymerization of many small molecules, known as monomers. Their consequently large molecular mass, relative to small molecule compounds, produces unique physical properties including toughness, high elasticity, viscoelasticity, and a tendency to form amorphous and semicrystalline structures. High Density

Polyethylene (HDPE) HDPE is widely used in the production of pressure pipes, gas distribution pipes, bottles, drums, barrels, white goods and machine parts, insulators, toys, electrical and electronic goods. In recent years, HDPE has started to be used in the construction of boats and warehouses especially due to water resistance. Low Density

Polyethylene (LDPE) LDPE, which is generally colorless, translucent, flexible, odorless, tasteless plastic, is one of the most excellent properties of heat sealability and can be adhered at about 120 ° C. Because of this feature, it is widely used as an intermediate layer to connect two layers which do not stick to each other thermally in the coatings. It also has positive properties such as being transparent and resistant to tearing, significantly reducing water vapor permeability and significantly reducing its elasticity at low levels.

Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) LLDPE is used in extrusion, blow molding film, roto-molding, injection molding for food-packaging, frozen food, floor-heating pipes, stretch film, cosmetics and drugstore etc. In addition, LLDPE is widely used as a carrier in masterbatch production. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Polyvinyl chloride is sensory neutral, transparent, hard, durable and oil-free and thermally stable. Oxygen permeability is very low but water vapor permeability is higher than low density polyethylene. It is used in packaging sector for food and non-food product bottles, stretch film and blister packages. It is also widely used in wastewater pipes and door window profiles.

Polystyrene (PS) Polystyrene is suitable for the production of packing of yoghurt, ayran, coffee, tea, retail fresh meat, jam and so on. The other type of polystyrene called foam type is used in food packaging and insulation. Polystyrene foam is the type which widened by heat or vacuum.
